We are thrilled to announce our third annual Cherrywood Retreat!
MAY 20-23, 2019
North Star Retreat Center
9:00 a.m. Monday to 1:00 p.m. Thursday
Welcome Presentation Sunday, May 19 at 8:00 pm
Four days and three nights at
North Star Retreat Center in Ashby, Minnesota. This is a beautiful 11,000 square foot retreat center, just a few miles from Alexandria, Minnesota. The workspace is flooding with natural light, and there is plenty of room to spread out. The large bedrooms and shared bathrooms include all wonderful quilts on the beds, towels and bathroom products.
Gather with like-minded quilters to work on all those Cherrywood projects swimming in your head! And if you are one of those that says "I just can't cut into my Cherrywood" we will have a special exercise for you!
We will get to know each other at the Sunday night "Sip & Slide" where Karla will give a slide presentation about The Prince Cherrywood Challenge, and all the work leading up to the display. Don't forget your favorite glass of wine to sip on! We will also talk about any prep work needed for the projects for those who want to get a head start.
*NOTE: The PRINCE Challenge quilts will be on public display at North Star Retreat Center from May 10-18 from 9-6:00 (except Sunday). Contact Heather if you would like to come to the retreat early enough to see the display.
